Gli Expats sudafricani tornano a casa

Nel mentre fioccano le prime liste di convocati pre-mondiali, idee e approcci innovativi arrivano come sempre dal Sudafrica: verrà allestita una squadra di Expatriates non Springboks (senza quindi i Frans Steyn e i Ruan Pienaar) chiamata Premier XV, sarà posta agli ordini di Brendan Venter ex Director dei Saracens coadiuvato da Paul Treu dello staff degli Springboks. Il team sfiderà il 4 giugno i Southern Kings nella loro casa, il Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium di Porth Elizabeth (nella foto), una ottima occasione per (ri-)mettersi in evidenza in Patria. Per i Kings sarà un warm-up, dato che la Saru li ha prescelti rappresentativa sudafricana alla 2011 Nations Cup che si svolgerà dal 10 giugno in Romania. Notevole la lista dei convocati con diversi ex Springboks come Wannenburg, Adams, Bobo, Wentzel; c'è anche Stefan Basson del Rovigo.
