6 Nations 2013 Know your enemy: Scotland

Nell'ultima domanda viene fatto cenno all'arbitro dell'incontro, il sudafricano Jaco Peyper.

What strengths do Scotland possess which will allow them to beat Italy this weekend?
In previous years we have had a “pack that can take on anyone” but not very much behind. Last weekend showed that finally we have a balanced and threatening back three. If we can achieve Italian levels of passion and commitment our back three should be able to find holes.

Who do you think will be the key player for your side this weekend?
Our “openside”, Kelly Brown. The key is the contact area – we need better ball. Jackson has had an armchair ride from the Glasgow pack this season but Farrell made him look ordinary behind steady possession. We should have more creativity, but muscle will be where it is decided. Rob Harley will also be important, a young player in the Jason White mould.

How do you think the game will unfold?
This is the ref who gave us a last minute scrum penalty to beat the Aussies, so he’s not afraid of a big call. I just hope it doesn’t go against Euan Murray this time who creaked in the scrum last week and won’t be playing against Ireland. I am expecting it to be bum-squeakingly tight. I don’t think it needs to be, but our pack still looks disjointed and without them muscling us some quality ball, it will be.Score prediction - Scotland 17-15 Italy.

So' pro, per contratto giocano ogni 7 giorni ...
